Kelowna Flightcraft pilots and KF Aerospace have reached an agreement on a new contract.

Air Line Pilots Association Int’l, which is the union that represents the 13 pilots, announced earlier this week that the sides had reached common ground on a four-year agreement. The tentative deal will be presented to the airline’s pilots for ratification.

“Our goal was to secure meaningful improvements that better reflect today’s industry standards,” Kelowna Flightcraft master executive council chairman Capt. Andreas Geng said. “This agreement represents significant progress, and we encourage all pilots to review the details carefully before the vote.”

ALPA said the tentative deal includes improvements on compensation, scheduling and quality of life. Negotiations had been ongoing for 14 months.

Kelowna Flightcraft pilots operate cargo and specialized air services throughout Canada.
